Lovebug's Bow-Tique Sign was made by using a photo editing tool to replace Minnie's name with Lovebug's on a Minnie's Bow-Tique picture. It was printed on white card stock.
Grand Opening was made by printing bright pink letters on yellow card stock.
Bow garland was made by printing Minnie Bows on craft paper. Then cutting and taping them to thin white ribbon.
Minnie Mouse Happy Birthday sign was made using black poster board.
I cut one large circle then two smaller ones and then glued them together.
Happy Birthday Lovebug lettering can either be traced and cut on bright card stock then glued on or cut using an electronic cutting tool.
You can download the Walter font for free here.
The Happy Birthday sign was also used for entertaining guests.
The kids decorated bows then played pin the bow on Minnie Game.
For lunch, we served Bowtie Pasta and Cheese
as well as Bowtie Pasta and Meatballs.
Roasted vegetables, salad, garlic bread and fruit salad were served as well.
These Tissue Bows were hung over our dessert table.
(Learn how to make them here)
Sadly, the pictures of our dessert table were accidentally deleted from our camera. But, at least I was able to get pictures of the decorations after the fact!
The Minnie Doll and Lollipop Decoration was made by covering a styrofoam square with wrapping paper. Then decorating with bows, Minnie doll and lollipops (we picked these up on a recent trip to Disneyland).
We also decorated the dessert table with a picture of Lovebug with Minnie as well as a framed Minnie's Bow-Tique quote, "If fun and fashion are what you seek, you're always welcome at Lovebug's Bow-Tique!"
Mickey Mouse Lollipops were used as decoration and party favors.
I also made Hair Bows and Bow Ties using this tutorial.
I used the same pattern for both bows but glued the bow on a hair clip instead of attaching it to the necktie for the girls.
We decorated this table with another picture of Lovebug with Minnie and another Minnie's Bow-Tique quote, "There's no business like bow business!"
I had such a great time planning and executing this party! Please reach out if you have any questions!
UPDATE: I've added free printables for the door sign, bow garland and food labels.
Just right click on the image then click save. Open the saved document in a word processing or picture editing application. Add text and/or adjust the size of the image to suit your needs, then print.
I printed these bows on patterned paper, then cut them and taped them to white ribbon to make my garland.
I used these bows for food labels by adding the name of each dish in pink over the top of the bow and printing on white card stock. I just attached a folded piece of cardstock to the back to make them stand.
